This podcast is a powerful gallery of raw real life stories and the reason that led these women to reach out to do a boudoir and glamour session. It was created to give a voice to my clients (a.k.a Bombshells) to share their beautiful stories by means of inspiration to other women as well. As I get reached out by so many women everyday, I get the chance to listen and be inspired by them and, for that reason, I feel it is time to give back and let others also benefit from such powerful stories. When a woman decides to take the step to do a session, it goes way beyond seeing these gorgeous images of herself. It becomes part of a process of relearning self love, taking back control and giving empowerment to herself and others around. Every woman is a Goddess, and trust me, all of us have a Bombshell inside. Just allow yourself the chance to let her wings spread! We also talk about body and mind wellness, for the modern woman with special guests. This is a whole package, ladies! Welcome to the Bombshell Club! Marquita: Bombshell with a Purpose
Wednesday Nov 13, 2024
Wednesday Nov 13, 2024
As a teenager, Marquita had to face a hurdle that changed her life. She was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and believed that her life would be a short one. Luckily for us, Marquita beat cancer and looked forward to life as an adult! She married, had children, and bought a house... and then the cancer returned. Again, Marquita feared that her life was never meant to be a long one, and that she would never have the opportunity to accomplish her goals. Her cancer treatments left scars both physical and emotional.
Once again, Marquita beat cancer, and then she knew that she is here for a reason, and that her life has purpose. "I learned from both of those moments that life is not over for me," Marquita says. "My story is not ending." Her motto, Veni, Vidi, Vici, from Julius Caesar, means, "I came, I saw, I conquered." A fitting motto for Marquita!

Sabrina: Be Your Own Number One!
Friday Apr 12, 2024
Friday Apr 12, 2024
Sabrina is that rare Washington, D.C. native who still calls this area home. In fact, her daughters attend the same elementary school that Sabrina attended! She lives here with her husband and daughters and works as a librarian. You can forget that cliche about librarians being quiet and mousey, though. Sabrina is anything but! This caring, intelligent, and funny lady understands that the best things in life require hard work; at the same time, she understands the importance of taking quiet moments just for herself. In fact, one of her favorite things is enjoying some solitude in the backyard hammock! Even so, Sabrina also loves getting all dolled up for a night on the town.
What brought Sabrina to the boudoir photography studio? "I was having some self-esteem issues and I wanted to do something for myself as a personal boost," says Sabrina. Her favorite part was feeling like a model and forgetting to be self-conscious about her so-called "problem areas." Just one of the many benefits of a boudoir photoshoot--no more problem areas!

Anita: From Scrubs to Supermodel!
Thursday Feb 01, 2024
Thursday Feb 01, 2024
Anita hails from Florida and works as a surgical technician. This kind and funny 40-year-old might come across as an extroverted social butterfly, but Anita actually thinks of herself as a homebody who loves spending time with her furbabies, do-it-yourself projects, and the occasional glass of wine.
So, what was so attractive about doing a boudoir photoshoot? For one, Anita spends her working life in drab scrubs. She was ready for a glamorous and sexy change. Another reason was Anita's love of trying new things. This courageous lady drove from Florida to Maryland alone for a travel assignment, leaving her home, friends, and family. She hates snow!!! Luckily, there is little of that frozen stuff in Florida!
Anita's mindset is a beautiful one. Very little keeps her up at night. Life is too short to worry about every little thing. Anita prays and leaves her worries with God. She says that God will not take you where grace and mercy won't keep you. Wise words from this beautiful soul! Listen more about her wisdom and experiences in this beautiful episode recorded straight from Florida.

Shannon: She knows she is big and beautiful!
Thursday Mar 10, 2022
Thursday Mar 10, 2022
We are thrilled to kick off Season Two of our awesome podcast Bombshell Tells All with the gorgeous Shannon Banegas! Mom and grandmom Shannon describes herself as a daddy’s girl who is outgoing, caring, and kind. She is devoted to her family but felt a lack of confidence in her own beauty. Was she still sexy? Like many other women, Shannon was sensitive about her weight.
Shannon describes her photo session as a pivotal moment in her life. Even when the shoot was over, Shannon remembered that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and that true beauty is on the inside. She defines a bombshell as a woman who can look at herself regardless of her flaws and know that she is SEXY! Shannon’s main takeaway after the shoot was that regardless of what other people say and think, she knows she is big and beautiful.
Now that she is an official bombshell, Shannon's advice is: always love yourself. Important words for all of us from our sexy and confidant bombshell Shannon!

Some people say that a boudoir photo session can be a powerful form of therapy. Today's episode will prove that this is absolutely true! Gorgeous Amy is a sweet soul, the mother of two 2 lovely daughters aged 18 and 21, and an accomplished Executive Assistant for a big pharmaceutical company. Although Amy describes herself as a "textbook introvert," she is a joy to chat with as well as an inspiration as she works on rediscovering herself and loving the beautiful woman she is. Amy shares with us a bit of her story: how a narcissistic relationship tarnished her self-image, and how it took time and great effort to put the past behind her and embrace her self-worth. After so much hard work rediscovering herself, Amy is back in the dating game (we might even record another episode with Amy about dating in your 40s--that will be fun!). Here what Amy has to say about her experience during the process: "Don't be afraid to face your demons, because they stay with you all your life. I'm 46 and I should have addressed my self-confidence issues long, long ago."

Jasmin is this gorgeous 28-year-old African American goddess, born in Harrisburg, PA but currently residing in Frederick, MD. Jasmin is a single mother, blessed with three beautiful children (1 boy and 2 girls). Even though Jasmin is young, she's had a great number of difficulties in her early life, and she shared with us her memories from her past: the battle and struggle with addiction and how much it has taken from her, until she realized she could not keep going that path and how she was able to rise and conquer. It was a hard process, but today she is clean and free and she is building up on a path of self-love for and love for others around her. That decision has brought so much joy and positive energy and it built new and happier memories with her kids and partner, who are her main supporters. Her strong and stable relationship with her partner is also helping her heal from past traumas, and today she is starting to see her real self as the person she wants to be: a happier and loving mother and partner, who is walking on the path of happiness. Jasmin also shares her reasons to choose doing a boudoir session and her experience as a whole, and how it has helped her on that journey.

Melissa walked us through her main life points on this interview, giving us a chance to get to know a little bit about her amazing soul, but enough to understand that all of us share something special. Melissa was raised in Montgomery County, and she is the only girl, the 3rd child out of 4. She says she grew up as a tomboy. Melissa graduated from Towson University with a degree in fine arts and not quit a minor in psychology. She had plans to become an art therapist but she never went back to school. She became an assistant manager for a florist for 6 years and her close friend became a police officer, that was when she started riding along. It was enough to get her hooked and she became a police officer!!
Now, currently 60 years old of maturity in life, her motto is "Kindness is contagious be a carrier" and it says so much about this amazing lady!!!
She first look into doing a Boudoir Session after coming out of my second failed marriage and turning 60, but it became something bigger than that. It reminded her she is enough and she is beautiful! Listen her interview to understand more about her story.
Here is a lovely message Melissa wishes to share with you: "Believe in yourself. Know that you are beautiful inside and out. Don’t listen to media!"
The Crown Forward! Here is Melissa's question for the next Bombshell to be interviewed: When was it that you realized that you are absolutely gorgeous?
Who will be the next bombshell on our episode 2? You will find out soon, and she will answer that question for us :)
Thank you so much, Melissa! May your path be always blessed with love and kindness, because you definitely leave of positivity a trace wherever you go!
xoxo,
